The Village of Potter will be hosting a Fall Community Clean-up Event to help our residents and business owners remove unwanted or broken household items, junk and nuisance items for FREE. Now is the time to clean out the attic, the garage and to get the clutter out of the yard!
When: Friday, September 30th, Saturday, October 1st & Sunday October 2nd
The clean-up will be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
Where: There will be roll-off dumpsters for trash and debris and a roll-off for scrap metal located behind the now closed Grocery Store and Bags’ Bar.
The following items are acceptable: General household waste, furniture, mattresses, carpeting, appliances, construction waste, TVs, monitors, BBQ grills, bikes, automotive parts, lawn mowers, glass, plastic, painted wood, electrical wiring, computers, all scrap metal and hot water heaters.
Residents can get rid of pretty much everything, EXCEPT tires, motor oil, batteries, commercial chemicals and pesticides. If you have any items that you are unsure about please contact the Village Office for further assistance.
If you need help removing and hauling items to the roll-offs, please call 308-879-4332 to be added to the list for FREE pick-up and removal. For help removing and hauling, the items must be outside or in a garage.
