Parks
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the two Village parks through tree planting, pruning, stump removal, watering, fertilizing, weed spraying, maintaining the playground equipment.

Public Works
The Maintenance Supervisor/Street Superintendent is responsible for a wide range of duties and all of the Village’s infrastructure. They are responsible for the streets, parks, water department, garbage department, sanitary sewer department, Village vehicles and equipment and animal control.

Sanitation
The Village of Potter provides and the Maintenance Supervisor maintains the sanitary sewer system in the Village of Potter. The Village of Potter uses lagoons for the sanitary sewer waste from our customers.

Trash Collection
The Village of Potter provides garbage service to the Village residents on a weekly basis and garbage is usually picked up on Mondays. Residents living outside the Village limits are eligible to sign-up to bring their garbage in and to use the Village Dumpsters.

Water
The Village of Potter’s water system is supplied by two wells. The quality of the groundwater in Potter does not necessitate a water treatment plant, and the Village is prohibited by the voters from the fluoridation of the Village's water supply.
